NIPCO Plans Cooking Gas Plant in Adamawa, Ogun
Nigeria Independent Petroleum Company (NIPCO) Plc says it would site a Liquefied Natural Gas plant in Yola, Adamawa State before the end of this year. Ogun and Enugu states would also benefit from the gesture, the Managing Director of the company, Mr. Venkataraman Venkatapathy said. Venkatapathy, who spoke at a media parley in Lagos, said the gesture was aimed at promoting the use of cooking gas in the country, which he said is under-utilized.
He also disclosed the intention of the company to spread the use of Compressed Natural Gas beyond Benin, Edo State.
