Nipco Wins Twin Awards in Oil & Gas Industry
Nipco plc, an integrated oil and & gas company has bagged twin awards in the hydrocarbon industry for its seamless operations at the second edition of the prestigious Oil & Gas Innovation Awards 2016 organised by BusinessDay –Oval Energy .
The awards namely, Downstream Marketing Company of the Year and LPG Distribution Company of the Year were presented to the company at an elaborate event aimed at rewarding, recognising institutions, organizations and personalities who have contributed immensely to the growth and development of the industry and the entire economy of the nation.
In his remarks, Publisher /CEO BusinessDay Media Ltd, Mr Frank Aigbogun said the awards were not only open and transparent but its integrity too cannot be questioned as verifiable parameters were used in selection process of all companies nominated and eventual winners.
According to him, the organization Research and Intelligence Unit carried extensive research using different factors on all companies involved in the upstream and downstream sectors of the oil& gas industry.
Receiving the awards, Managing Director, Nipco, Mr Venkataraman Venkatapathy said the feat is very inspiring and result of team work by the entire employees of the company who have continued to drive the management to greater heights in the industry.
He thanked the organisers of the awards’ for recognising the company and for taking note of the exemplary service delivery being rendered by Nipco in both white products and gas dispense across the nooks and crannies of the country.
Mr Venkatapathy assured all stakeholders that the company will not relent in offering exceptional service in the industry stressing that the organization would continue to exhibit and maintains global best practices at all times.
