NIPCO Helmsman, Sanjay Teotia Inducted as IOD Member
The Managing Director, NIPCO Plc, Sanjay Teotia has been inducted into the prestigious Institute of Directors, apex body of the private sectors that caters & speaks for directors in their various sectors and across the various sectors of the economy.
The induction along with scores of distinguished board gurus across the country was held and Eko Hotel, Lagos.
The IOD is a corporate leadership organization involved in promoting professionalism through continuous education information sharing, networking of opportunities and positive contributions to the socio – economic and political growth of Nigeria.
It presents a formidable front in the affairs of the national economy and promotes an enabling environment for businesses to thrive through its various advocacy programs.
Speaking at the event, the IOD President, Alhaji Ahmed Rufai said the Institute believes strongly that the success of companies and organizations depend on the performance and competence of directors, their integrity, fairness and vision as well as ability to balance the interest of all stakeholders in the society.
According to him, the institute main focus is on integrity and enterprise devoid of corrupt practices or abuse of economic power.
Felicitating with the NIPCO MD on another plus on the steady growth of the company, management and staff applauded the great feat of intellectual development.
