NIPCO MD Lauds Long Serving Employees

The Managing Director, Nipco Plc, Suresh Kumar has lauded long serving
employees of the company for their selfless dedication in the meteoric rise
of the organization in the downstream sector of the nation’s hydrocarbon
industry.

He gave the commendation at the fun filled long service award ceremony
organized to mark 15 and 10 years of unalloyed loyalty and commitment to the company by the concerned personnel at the company’s premises in Lagos.

The MD applauded the team spirit being exhibited by the workforce stressing that even in the face of daunting challenges in the sector, team work will make the company a worthy benchmark in the industry .

Mr Suresh who referred to both the investors and the employees as a family
pledged that he and his team will ensure all parties have something splendid as rewards for their endeavors in the organization.

“My team will strive to make the family happy, healthy and shower prosperity on them , our drive is to make a difference within the ambit of the bottom line of the company ” he declared

While congratulating the honorees , he enjoined them to make the best of
the knowledge and experience gathered in the course of their service adding
what will remain with you till the rest of your life is positives gained
while in the organization with regards what you have leant over the years .

He equally advised the awardees to continue the good works that keep them going in the organization over a decade while urging other employees toemulate same.

One of the awardees ,Akabson Mohammed , who retired last year in his response said he feels flabbergasted with the invite and pecuniary benefits attached noting that the feat has made him more convinced about the genuine intents of the company to always put welfare of staff uppermost.

According to him, he remains an ambassador of the company eulogizing the management on what the organization had done in his life as well as using whatever resources at his disposal to raise the reputation of the downstream player any where he goes.

The highlight of the event which also had in attendance the COO/CFO, Roka Chiranjibi, the awardees and some select employees was the presentation of plaques to the beneficiaries.

The yearly event packaged by the HR/ADM department was to honour concerned personnel who had served a minimum of 10 years in the employ of the company with this tear own being the first time staff who had put in 15 years in service.

Over 20 personnel were celebrated on the number of years they have stayed in the organization.
