Located at Dockyard Road, Apapa, Lagos, NIPCO's Depot Division is one of Nigeria's most strategically located petroleum storage and distribution terminals. Established in 1988, the terminal enjoys direct access to the Apapa jetty β ensuring a reliable, efficient supply chain for white petroleum products across Nigeria.
The facility spans 9.5 hectares and is equipped with a state-of-the-art 10-point automated truck loading gantry capable of loading up to 12 million litres of petroleum products per day. Total nameplate storage capacity stands at 76 million litres, serving as a major distribution hub for premium motor spirit (PMS), automotive gas oil (AGO) and dual purpose kerosene (DPK).
With an annual throughput exceeding 1.9 billion litres, the NIPCO terminal is among the highest-volume petroleum depots in Nigeria β a testament to our operational efficiency, robust infrastructure and commitment to meeting the nation's energy needs.

Fully automated central control room monitors all operations in real time β from product intake and storage levels to truck loading gantry management β ensuring safety and operational excellence at every step.

76 million litre storage capacity spread across a network of above-ground steel storage tanks. Tanks are hydrostatically tested and cathodically protected to international standards, equipped with floating roofs for vapour management.
10-bay automated truck loading gantry with bottom-loading arms and overfill protection systems. Each bay is equipped with flow meters, vapour recovery units and preset batch management for accurate, safe and rapid loading.
Comprehensive fire suppression infrastructure including foam concentrate systems, hydrant networks, deluge systems on all tanks and a dedicated fire station with trained emergency response personnel on site at all times.
NIPCO PLC's Industrial Department handles direct supply of AGO (Automotive Gas Oil) to customer sites for plant and truck use. As the first operator of Vendor Management Inventory (VMI) in Nigeria, we have established contracts with leading corporates including Nigerian Breweries, covering seventeen plants β with regular renewals driven by our excellence in service delivery.
Upon the acquisition of Mobil downstream, we provide customers direct access to Mobil's high-quality lubricants: Diesel Engine Oil, Hydraulic Oil, Grease and more. All products strictly conform to NMDPRA standard specifications and documentation requirements for petroleum products.
