Having started as a white oil depot operator in 2004, NIPCO diversified with the inauguration of what was then the biggest privately-owned LPG depot in Nigeria in January 2009 — a landmark moment for the country's downstream gas sector.
Today, NIPCO controls a major share of the LPG market with its storage facilities, an effective automated Butane-Propane Blending Skid, and supporting infrastructure to further expand access to clean cooking fuel at competitive prices. The company provides peerless service to customers including bottling plant owners, making it a depot of choice across Nigeria.
NIPCO's improved storage facilities and efficient vessel reception have been a major boost in the turnaround of LPG vessels berthing at Apapa jetty, ensuring a reliable, continuous supply chain to bottlers, bulk distributors and auto-LPG operators nationwide.
With about 70 functional LPG skids across Nigeria, electronic filling machines for accurate dispensing, and a fleet of 200+ trucks, NIPCO delivers LPG seamlessly to company plants and third-party operators nationwide.
