NIPCO's Retail Division is one of Nigeria's largest and fastest-growing retail fuel networks. With over 400 branded stations spanning all geopolitical zones of Nigeria, NIPCO is the fuel brand Nigerians trust for quality products, accurate metering and consistent service.
The division commenced retail operations in 2009 and achieved Major Marketer status from the Petroleum Products Marketing Company (PPMC) in 2012 β a recognition of our scale, operational standards and capacity as a bulk purchaser and distributor of refined petroleum products.
NIPCO stations offer Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), Automotive Gas Oil (AGO), Kerosene (DPK) and, at selected locations, LPG and Auto-LPG through integrated NIPCO Skid plants. A network-wide digital upgrade programme is bringing EV charging, loyalty programmes and e-payment infrastructure to our stations.

NIPCO's retail network is structured around four distinct station ownership and management models, giving us the flexibility to expand rapidly while maintaining brand standards across every site.
Stations fully owned and operated by NIPCO. The highest standard of NIPCO brand delivery β direct control over staff, pricing, product quality and customer experience. These flagship stations set the benchmark for the entire network.
NIPCO owns the asset; an approved dealer operates the station under a franchise agreement. NIPCO retains control of brand standards, product sourcing and pricing while leveraging dealer entrepreneurship and local market knowledge.
The dealer provides the land and facility while NIPCO manages all operations. This model accelerates network expansion by bringing independently-owned sites under NIPCO operational management and brand identity.
Independent dealers own and operate their stations under the NIPCO brand franchise. NIPCO provides product supply, brand standards and marketing support. This model forms the backbone of our rapid nationwide expansion.
In 2012, the Petroleum Products Marketing Company (PPMC) officially designated NIPCO as a Major Marketer of petroleum products β one of only a handful of private companies to achieve this status. The designation recognises NIPCO's proven capacity to lift, transport and distribute large volumes of refined products directly from NNPC depots without intermediaries.
This status gives NIPCO privileged access to product allocation and enables the company to supply its network of 400+ stations directly, ensuring product availability and price stability for customers across Nigeria.
